For Mestrini Optician we were allowed to design their third store, located in the Dutch village of Margraten. In the middle of the market square, in the building where a bank used to be located, we realized a future-proof retail store.
We’ve combined a luxurious boutique atmosphere with a modern contemporary store.
This expansion of Mestrini is the beginning of a new era for the family business.
Jules Mestrini:
“The store in Margraten may have 230 square meters, but because of the way it has been designed by Reiters, it remains a 'small' store in which 1-on-1 contact with our customers is central. Our goal is to open small Mestrini stores in several places in the future. Not mass, but attention for attention. Places where our guests can be helped in peace, feel comfortable and can easily park in front of the door.”
We changed the traditional optician visit by creating a real ‘glasses bar’ in the center of this optician store that ensures the clients feel immediately welcome upon arrival.
Sitting at this marble bar you can try on your desired glasses and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
