Located in Meerssen, just outside of the city Maastricht you’ll find Huis van Hermens. A hair and beautysalon with an in house perfumery.
When Ontwerpbureau Reiters was asked to develop the interior of the different spaces it was clear that every one of them had to have their own DNA. The former hair salon is now a place where beauty and hair come together with a in-house perfumery, offering a unique experience.
Entering the perfumery you surround yourself a warm and cozy space where classic elements merge with modern materials. The generally dark room painted in Farrow&Ball colour off black is illuminated by high-contrast materials such as the brushed stainless steel presentation boxes and the ceppo di gré counters. Above the counter are custom made lamps made of translucent onyx. The moldings provide the classic touch that makes it feel like its been there for ages.
